The Pet Maid – Service Agreement & Policies

Welcome to The Pet Maid! We’re proud to provide professional, stress-free pet care and yard cleanup services. By booking any service with us, you agree to the terms outlined below.

🐾 Services We Provide

We offer residential pet care services, including:

  • Dog waste removal

  • Dog walking

  • Potty breaks & outdoor playtime

We operate Monday through Friday 8AM-5PM, excluding major holidays.

Fully insured and bonded for your Peace of Mind.
All services must be scheduled at least 12 hours in advance. Same-day bookings May be available depending on schedule availability but are not guaranteed.

Prices varies based on yard size, number of pets and service frequency.

πŸšͺ Property Access & Yard Conditions

To ensure we can safely complete your service:

  • Gates must be unlocked and accessible on your scheduled day

  • Gates must be free of snow, ice, and debris and able to open and close without issues

  • Yards must be reasonably maintained, with grass not overgrown

  • Due to snow, ice, and frozen ground, not all pet waste may be visible or able to be removed at the time of service.

  • Service may be delayed, shortened, or rescheduled due to extreme weather, including: extreme heat, thunderstorms, icy conditions, excessive snow accumulation, or extreme cold

  • If we Are unable to safely access your yard upon arrival the visit may be subject to a full service charge.

  • Dogs must be indoors during waste removal visits.

  • The pet maid reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service if conditions are deemed unsafe.

  • Booking a service confirms agreement with these policies.

🐢 Dog Walking & Outdoor Visits

  • Dogs must have a secure collar or harness and a standard 4–6 ft. leash ready

  • Retractable leashes are not allowed β€” if one is provided and no standard 4–6 ft leash is available, the visit will be canceled and the visit will be charged in full

  • Owners must disclose any history of aggression, reactivity or medical conditions prior to service.

  • Waste removal, walks or outdoor time may be adjusted due to extreme weather conditions.

  • If a pet is deemed unsafe to handle, The Pet Maid reserves the right to cancel or discontinue service at our discretion.

  • The Pet Maid reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service at any time if conditions are considered unsafe for our staff, clients or pets.

❌ Cancellations & Missed Visits

  • Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours in advance to avoid a charge

  • Cancellations made with less than 12 hours' notice will be charged in full

  • If we arrive and cannot complete service due to a locked gate, unsafe yard, or aggressive/unleashed dogs, the full visit fee will still apply

    We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel any service due to unsafe conditions, extreme weather, aggressive animals, emergencies, illness, or other circumstances beyond our control. We will make every reasonable effort to reschedule your visit.

πŸ’² Payments & Late Fees

β€’Invoices are sent via text or email following service

  • Payment is due within 48 hours of service

  • A $10 late fee will be applied to any unpaid balance after 48 hours.

  • services may be suspended until the outstanding balance is paid.

  • We accept debit/credit card payments through our secure Jobber booking system

  • Returned or declined payments are subject to a $25 fee

Service pricing is determined by

  • Number of dogs

  • Yard size (All pricing is based on yards up to 1/8 acre. Additional fees apply for larger properties)

  • Frequency of visits (weekly, biweekly, monthly, or multiple times per week)

β€’ Properties requiring additional time, excessive waste removal, or presenting unforeseen conditions may require a custom quote or an initial one-time deep clean prior to beginning recurring service.

Start Fresh with an Initial CleanBefore weekly services begin, all new clients require a one-time initial cleanup. This ensures your yard starts clean and allows us to maintain it consistently moving forward.

β€’ Yards exceeding standard size

β€’ Excessive waste accumulation

β€’ Multiple dogs beyond included amount

β€’ Unsafe or hazardous yard conditions

β€’ Waiting time due to inaccessible yards

β€’ Holiday or priority scheduling

β€’Waste Removal: Pricing includes up to 2 dogs. Additional pets are $10 per visit.

β€’Walks, Potty Breaks & Playtime: Pricing includes 1 dog. Additional pets are $10 per visit.
